Summer Greetings from Jacquelyn

Summer Greetings dear HSPs around the world !

Before starting to read the summer issue of HSP Highlights and Insights please know it is quite full of what I hope will be interesting reading for you. However, I would suggest taking a quick browse through, then set aside times to come back and enjoy each article separately. I think you will be less over stimulated that way. Although if you do read all the way through, I trust that the over stimulation will be the “novel” kind – the kind that energizes in that unique HSP kind of way.

Here is a quick overview of what’s inside this issue:
HSP Highlights ~  Proudly Announcing:

The 25th HSP Gathering Retreat – October 25-29, 2012

And big news here …
The 26th HSP Gathering Retreat, May 9-12, 2012 near Stockholm, Sweden !! Yes, you read that right ~ Sweden !  The Swedish rights to Elaine’s books have just been sold there and interest and publicity is high!

I read Elaine’s books again and again! I found and subscribed to this Newsletter sometime ago, and truly enjoy it. When I saw a book named ‘Quiet’ listed at the library I checked it out. Just now I noticed Jacquelyn is both the auther of both this newsletter and the book ‘Quiet’! Amazing!!
Thank you so much for your informative insights! It feels so good to finally understand my own behaviors and personality ‘quirks’.

      Hi Barbara,
Sorry if I’ve confused you .. Susan Cain is the author of the book, Quiet, not me. I think her book is excellent, although personally I interchange the word “highly sensitive’ for the word “introversion” as explained in my article in On My Nightstand.

Yes, of course ! It was a beautiful poem. I will email you the source and the poem.
    Thanks, Jacqueyn
