  1. Sheila says:

ANYTHING in Upstate, NY for the future ????

    thanks,
    sheila

    • Jacquelyn says:

Hi Sheila …. Unfortunately, nothing is planned in Upstate New York at the present time. I do know there are several HSP Meet UPs
in New York, but not exactly where. The HSP Gatherings have been held on the East Coast several times,
in the earlier years: 2002 in Litchfield, CT; 2008 in Phoenicia, New York; and 2011 North Andover, MA. It would be lovely to return
to Phoenicia again… perhaps back at Menla Mountain Retreat Center? Is that near you ? Thanks for inquiring …

  2. Karen says:

    Hello Jacquelyn

With the strong US dollar I would love to see an HSP Gathering here in Canada – like the beautiful Algonquin Hotel in St Andrews, New Brunswick!

    Karen

    • Jacquelyn says:

      HI Karen ,
I love Canada — we have had 3 HSP Gatherings in British Columbia: the 11th one on Gabriola Island (2006) at The Haven; the 19th one 2010 again at The Haven; and most recently the 30th one in Abbottsford, B.C. The main criteria for a HSP Gathering Retreat venue is 1) in nature; 2) healthy food; 3) AFFORDABLE and varied lodging spaces. The Algonquin Hotel looks lovely, however,
after adding food, taxes and the HSP Conference fee, it would be out the budget range for many HSPs. Thanks for your interest, ideas and encouragement !

  3. Laura says:

It sounds like there are a few (Sheila, Deb, me : )HSP from western NY, Finger Lakes region (I’m sure there are many more, but I don’t know who/where they are). Is there a way to get us connected.

    • Jacquelyn says:

      Hello Laura …
Thanks for reaching out … and I apologize for my delay in responding … I would LOVE to know how to connect all the HSPs who read my newsletter, or who have “Liked” my HSP Gathering Retreat Facebook page. If you , or anyone else out there, knows how I could find map and at least indicated where people lived from all around the world – that would be so awesome. Meanwhile, here is
what I CAN suggest: On my HSP Gathering Retreat Facebook page – under NOTES — I have created separate Notes — representing a state or a country. There is not one there yet for New York — but I will add one tomorrow — and we can then suggest that Sheila and Deb — sign in there sharing their personal info. I couldn’t possible do it via this newsletter, nor post individual HSPs emails address here … because I would immediately become inundated with similar request. So, go on over to the Facebook page … click “More” at the top — and you will see Notes there .. I’ll add New York …. Hope this helps you connect ?

  4. Kay says:

Can the world cope with more than a few of us in one place at one time?

Would it be weird if I just came to this thing alone? Would I seem entirely strange with my purple hair and anxious extroversion? Should I do it either way because there will be other people there who tend to overthink everything like I just did here? 😉

    • Jacquelyn says:

Hi Kay … sorry to take so long to reply to your comment …. And … NO .. it would not be at ALL weird for you to attend a HSP Gathering Retreat alone !! 🙂 Your purple hair and
“anxious” extroversion would be welcomed warmly, and with understanding. Yes, you should “do it anyway” and come .. because there will be HSPs similar to you, different from you, yet we will all share the experience of what it is like to BE an HSP … You will find caring, nurturing, young, old, men, women, wise, not so wise, empowered, unempowered ~~ all types of beautiful HSPs who
for many will experience what it is like to BE their AUTHENTIC HSP Self. It is a beautiful thing to witness ~ and it happens every year .. as watch many HSPs bloom right before my eyes over the course of four days. And will we “over think” things? Oh, yes, probably so … but it will be with others, and we can all practice catching ourselves if we start to ruminate too much in a non-productive way . The final registration pages are up on my website: please do try to come: http://www.lifeworkshelp.com

  5. Debra Cohn says:

Hoping you’ll be back in California for 2017!

    • Jacquelyn says:

Hi Debra … Yes, I always love being back in California, particularly San Francisco …
So, yes, let me put that in my “vision garden” for 2017 to see how it grows 🙂
      Thanks for reaching
      out ….
