Ta da ….. I”m so happy — They are here ~ the (final) Registration Pages for the 31st and 32nd annual HSP Gathering Retreats. www.lifeworkshelp.com Now it’s time for me to relax, renew, and celebrate with fond anticipation.
The HSP Gathering Retreats™ are all about providing opportunity and time for YOU dear HSP: to explore, discover, express, revitalize, and celebrate your genetic trait of high sensitivity, in a way that is just right for you. And it is always a joy to have Elaine Aron, my co-founder of the HSP Gatherings, appear as our guest speaker. She will join us for the 31st HSP Gathering via Skype on Friday, July 1st.
This 31st HSP Gathering will be held In Estes Park, Colorado, June 28-July 2. We will spend sacred time (non strenuous) in Rocky Mountain National Park sharing in an experiential activity: Nature as Healer & Teacher.
In Fennville, Michigan, September 22-26, we will join with Ulla Frederiksen, my co-host, and EAGALA trained equine therapist at her Sundance Center (www.sundancecenter.net) There we will meet horses: Jericho, Juniper, Sydney, Maya, Gus, Clara and BJ . I am so excited to learn more about the EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) model. It is the same model used with the HSP & Horses work Elaine Aron is doing with her colleagues of Heart and Mind Equine in Northern California.
This is from Comfort Zone, Elaine Aron’s newsletter where she describes what the EAGALA model and HSPs is all about:
“…it is an experiential learning approach that uses horses, not as tools, but as active participants that help to facilitate the learning experience for the human participants. In the case of HSPs, we think that by examining equine behavior, and how the horses may or may not react to us, we can better understand sensitivity and our strengths and challenges in social situations…”
So, I hope many of you can find a way to join us….for the gatherings are such a special, heartfelt time of deepening and being seen and heard as HSPs.
